Steve was very very good, responded to original enquiry straight away, made a time and date for the repairs, provided a written quote. Phoned before arriving and did an excellent job. Originally thought the bottom track may need a stainless steel cap, but after inspection said that the track was in excellent condition and cap not required. The door slides as good as new. Not only was he fast and efficient, but what I couldn't believe, at first, is that it glides better than it did when we built the house and the door was brand new! My back sliding door broke and I thought I would have to get a new one but I came across the crowd that does all the sliding door repairs and by far Sliding Door Doctor was the best value. I think some of the companies doing this seem to be quoting very high prices, around $800-900 but Sliding Door Doctor gave me a good value price, not too expensive, not too cheap and it was fantastic because it was a fixed price, I knew what I was going to pay! The explanation on the phone was simple and to the point and the repair went smoothly. Needless to say, my door is sliding really well, would've loved to have done this years ago. The rollers and rail on my 1.6m x 2.5m (~90kg) sliding door panel were worn & had become almost impossible to open. Furthermore, there didn’t seem to be enough clearance to lift the panel out of the tracks. Will & his assistant Conrad (VIC) did an amazing job, thanks guys!

I wish that I had known about Steve years ago. He arrived early, lighted traffic than expected, and fixed two doors for less than quarter of the cost of one new door. Steve cleaned up as he went, not that he made much of a mess, and on completion of the job. The doors are now opening and closing with no effort. A job well done by a true professional.

Steve was very helpful. Our sliding door used to be a struggle. We looked into options whether to replace the whole glass door or to repair but finally decided to get it repaired. Steve arrived on time and completed the job efficiently. Now the door is sliding very smoothly. Just that the family need some time to adjust the effort used and try not to apply any muscle at all to open or close the door. Very happy with the service.

Fast service, professional and very knowledgeable about sliding door repairs. Our sliding door would get stuck and it was very difficult to open. I called on the weekend and he was able to explain the issue and book an appointment immediately over phone for the Monday. The name is apt. Steve did a very professional job, he's quick to respond. on time, informative and thorough...not a handyman but a specialist. I had a heavy 50 year old al. / glass sliding that now works like new thanks to a new stainless steel track. He repaired the frame which had come apart as well.If you don't want to get a new door get Steve over.

Sliding Door Doctor saved the day! Just moved into a new rental with a lovely deck but unfortunately the door leading onto the deck could not open. If only I'd found Steve earlier!We've had issues with our sliding door for over 5 years. They turned up well within the timeframe they nominated, were here less than hour to fix an otherwise a badly jammed door and they were cheaper by more than $300 than other places that quoted me.Would definitely recommend them and use them again if I needed to.

One of our sliding doors was almost impossible to open. Steve from Sliding Door Doctor came out and did the most amazing repair. Not only was he fast and efficient, but what I couldn't believe, at first, is that it glides better than it did when we built the house and the door was brand new! My back sliding door broke and I thought I would have to get a new one but I came across the crowd that does all the sliding door repairs and by far Sliding Door Doctor was the best value. I think some of the companies doing this seem to be quoting very high prices, around $800-900 but Sliding Door Doctor gave me a good value price, not too expensive, not too cheap and it was fantastic because it was a fixed price, I knew what I was going to pay! The explanation on the phone was simple and to the point and the repair went smoothly. Needless to say, my door is sliding really well, would've loved to have done this years ago. The rollers and rail on my 1.6m x 2.5m (~90kg) sliding door panel were worn & had become almost impossible to open. Furthermore, there didn’t seem to be enough clearance to lift the panel out of the tracks. Will & his assistant Conrad (VIC) did an amazing job, thanks guys!

Had a glass sliding door that was over 40 years, very hard to slide.Called the Sliding Door Doctor , Steve said he could fix the door the next day. I wish that I had known about Steve years ago. He arrived early, lighted traffic than expected, and fixed two doors for less than quarter of the cost of one new door. Steve cleaned up as he went, not that he made much of a mess, and on completion of the job. The doors are now opening and closing with no effort. A job well done by a true professional.

Steve was very helpful. Our sliding door used to be a struggle. We looked into options whether to replace the whole glass door or to repair but finally decided to get it repaired. Steve arrived on time and completed the job efficiently. Now the door is sliding very smoothly. Just that the family need some time to adjust the effort used and try not to apply any muscle at all to open or close the door. Very happy with the service.

Fast service, professional and very knowledgeable about sliding door repairs. Our sliding door would get stuck and it was very difficult to open. I called on the weekend and he was able to explain the issue and book an appointment immediately over phone for the Monday. He was prompt to the appointment and our door fixed was fixed in under an hour. He also cleaned up the space thoroughly after. Very happy with the service!

The name is apt. Steve did a very professional job, he's quick to respond. on time, informative and thorough...not a handyman but a specialist. I had a heavy 50 year old al. / glass sliding that now works like new thanks to a new stainless steel track. He repaired the frame which had come apart as well.If you don't want to get a new door get Steve over.

Sliding Door Doctor saved the day! Just moved into a new rental with a lovely deck but unfortunately the door leading onto the deck could not open. Adrian worked his magic and after a few hours, showing his impressive experience with aluminium sliding doors, the door is as stated 'opening with a single finger'.
